​You can help the poor rural Sierra Leone people through by giving a donation

Only through the generosity of individuals, charities and funding organizations we are able to continue to do our work. If you decide to support us financially, you can make an important contribution to our work towards a more change for better Sierra Leone as a whole.

To support the great work we are doing and also get involved you can make online donations towards a particular project. We will ensure that donations made will be used for purpose donated for. Naturally, we also encourage you to keep informed about our activities through the updates on this website.

Donations can be made for the following purpose;

• Support to facilitate in setting Chiefdom Care Center
• Support the Community Radio Taiama
• Building a borehole water system -$15,000 incremental donation for community safe drinking water supply. 
• Building a training residential structure on a farmland for model rural development initiatives -$15,500.
• Solar/electrical power system -$6,000
• Assorted hard tools for clearing land, planting seeds and seedlings,  weeding etc. -$2000
• Tractor for initial land ploughing -$2,500
• Center staff (4) stipends and incentives -$100×4×12 =$5000
• 1 pickup truck and 4 bicycles.

​Why Volunteer

The Mid South Africa Link (MSAL) receives support from short and long term volunteers and interns, who are very important to our organization. They help us in the implementation of our activities, and also give us new input to improve the quality of our work. Our staff is experienced in supervising volunteers and interns, and in making their time with MSAL, a learning experience in which professional and personal development are very important.

For last 6 years MSAL has been hosting both local and international volunteers, who have been able to get a chance to be involved in various activities within MSAL projects. We have been able to host volunteers who come for short and long term period.

As a way of getting involved one will be able to;

• Give back to the community
• Learn new culture of the community and gain lifetime experience
• Share your skills and knowledge with the organization and the community too.
• Make new friends
• Further your skills

Volunteers are also given a chance to explore other adventurous place in the country, and get to learn other cultures of the Sierra Leonean people.
